* Laptops purchased from Detroit Diesel beginning in August 2006 through May 2011 meet the minimum specifications. Any purchase prior to this time may need additional memory (see recommended specs). As a general rule, computers with higher levels of RAM perform more efficiently. Computers with only the minimum specifications should work, but they may run slow. Closing unused applications while running DDDL/DDRS may also help.
The Nexiq USB Link is the approved translator interface for Detroit Diesel. Bluetooth functionality is not approved for reprogramming.
